We are a team of Built Environment specialists who work across offices in London, Cambridge, and Birmingham, and have consultant reach to the South East and South West of England.

We employ an intelligent, analytical, and bespoke approach to every campaign we work on. We also have a network of Built Environment researchers who support the team in delivering individualised services to clients.

Rebekah Paczek

Managing Director
Founder of Snapdragon Consulting, Rebekah has over 15 years experience specialising in providing policy & political analysis and advice; community and media relations and planning support to the property and regeneration sector. Working across national and local government, Rebekah has covered a breadth of industry sectors and issues, particularly focusing on projects and proposals which require sensitive guiding through the community, stakeholder and political aspects of planning and development. Projects have included: Strategic land planning; Sustainable Urban Extensions; Energy from Waste proposals; Urban infill; Retail, residential, leisure, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Ben Lee

Director

Ben has worked in the planning and development sector for more than a decade; navigating the planning process from a range of perspectives. As a local newspaper journalist Ben reported regularly on development projects before specialising in housing and planning with Planning Magazine, as a senior reporter, and then the Royal Town Planning Institute as its press and public affairs manager. Ben has spent the last six years managing the media, political and community relations on large-scale residential and mixed-use development projects in London, East Anglia and Cambridge on behalf of the development sector’s most successful companies.

Oliver Deed

Director

Having previously worked for a Member of Parliament and for organisations operating in the third sector, Oliver joined the Snapdragon team in 2013. Whilst in Parliament Oliver undertook research on a range of issues relating to localism and local government. Since joining Snapdragon Consulting, he has worked on supported a number of clients, from volume housebuilders, to local landowners, in the process of helping them achieve their business objectives.

Alex Green

Account Director

Alex has been part of the Snapdragon team since 2013, following two years experience of planning and stakeholder engagement in political consultancy. Alex has worked across a breadth of sectors and a wide variety of clients and projects spanning the development industry. Alex has a specialist understanding of what it takes to successfully engage with developers, politicians and stakeholders alike, with a particular attention to detail, based on a significant knowledge of the planning process.

Alex has a Bachelors Degree from the University of London, Goldsmiths College, and in 2013 obtained his Masters Degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS).

Will Savage

Senior Account Manager

Will initially joined Snapdragon in 2014 after completing his Masters at King’s College London, alongside a brief spell working for an MP in Westminster. Having contributed to a number of significant land promotions in London’s Green Belt, Will joined a Birmingham-based agency in 2016 before returning a year later to spearhead Snapdragon’s expansion into the Midlands. After working on the region’s biggest development schemes, Will has a specialist understanding of the area and can deliver across a range of projects.

Joel Fayers

Senior Account Manager

Joel spent 5 years working for a senior Member of Parliament as well as over 2 years for a political party before becoming Account Manager at Snapdragon Consulting. Whilst working for the political party, Joel worked on various local government elections in the East of England. In Westminster, Joel built upon his knowledge of local campaigning by gaining communications, stakeholder, and media experience by working on national campaigns such as the West Anglia Taskforce. As of summer 2017 Joel has been utilising his local knowledge to lead our expansion into Essex.

Elizabeth Carey

Account Manager

Politics graduate Liz secured her Bachelors degree at Brunel University in July 2013. During her studies, she undertook a placement year working as a Monitoring Assistant for a public affairs agency. She also has experience within the third sector, after spending six months with a large international charity as a Parliamentary and Public Affairs Researcher. She has a variety of experience in stakeholder engagement, communications and conducting contact programmes with parliamentarians and political delegates.

Megan Carroll

Account Executive/Marketing Officer

Megan works as an Account Executive and a Marketing and Events Officer. Megan joined us first as an intern and then full time after completing her Master’s Degree in International Public Policy at UCL. Originally from the United States, Megan has a background in international politics and communications, and completed a six-month stint in Barcelona working in the press office of a large NGO. She is particularly experienced with events planning, social media, and research.

Will Hamill

Account Executive

Will is one of the newest members of the Snapdragon team, joining us as an Account Executive in 2016 having obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Policy and Criminology from the London School of Economics. Prior to joining Snapdragon, Will worked for three years at the England Sports Group (ESG) and assisted his Member of Parliament during the 2015 General Election campaign. Will is passionate about British politics at both the local and national level, bringing a particularly strong knowledge of elections, policy development, and party politics to the team.

Isobel Morris

Account Executive

Isobel graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2016 with a BA in History. She recently joined Snapdragon as an Account Executive based in the East of England office. Having grown up in Cambridge, Isobel provides a unique understanding of the city’s culture and dynamics, as well as the way in which politics interacts with the planning system. After spending a year working part-time for Daniel Zeichner MP, Isobel has developed a keen interest in communications, planning policy and current affairs.

Josh Woolliscroft

Account Executive

Josh has worked in the offices of a number of Members of Parliament and is a Politics graduate from Queen Mary, University of London.. Before joining Snapdragon as an Account Executive, Josh worked in a variety of political and communications roles. Building on his experience in Parliament, Josh is well versed in stakeholder analysis, political engagement, and media relations.

Debbie Street

Head of Finance and HR

Debbie is a manager with over 15 years of client facing and business management experience. She started her career in Central Government in the early 1990’s, studying Business Management, Counter Fraud Management and Counter Intelligence Specialist at University of Portsmouth. She later joined Snapdragon in 2011. Debbie has a wide range of experience and is a visionary thinker who develops, evaluates and puts operational measures in place to make the company successful. Her planning and marketing experience ensures best practices are implemented adding value to the business.

Jilly Carrell

Non-Executive Director

Jilly has 25 years of Public Affairs and Corporate Communications experience, spanning the Financial, Shipping and Public Sectors. She trained in Political Science, Law and Education and has 20 years of senior management expertise. She has been instrumental in the development of policy in relation to Service Children’s Education, and is a Governor of a large agricultural college in the South West, a Trustee of Mencap and currently consults in Local Government, The Third Sector, and Education. She has a particular interest in community workshops and the community voice.

Siobhan Wilson

Consultant

Public affairs consultant Siobhan has more than over twenty years of experience planning and implementing public affairs strategies for a wide range of clients in both the public and private sector. Siobhan started her career in Parliament, working for two MPs across government policy issues and constituency issues. Having worked in both local and national government lobbying, Siobhan gained substantial experience of community engagement and public consultation programmes on planning, development and regeneration projects.
