On 5th May 2016, Londoners will head to the polls to elect the next Mayor of London. 25 members of the London Assembly will also be elected to scrutinise the Mayor for the next four years.
For the first time since the creation of the London Mayoralty neither Ken Livingstone nor Boris Johnson will be standing as candidates. It is likely the next Mayor of London will be one of Sadiq Khan or Zac Goldsmith, barring a major political earthquake.
